Manga Rica - BEST EXPORTATION MANGOES

History

Manga Rica S.A. was established in 1989 with a planning area of 509 hectares. With the aim of developing the export trade of mangoes to United States and European markets.

In 1998, the company acquired Spanish-made equipment, which reduced the packing time for a container ( 40 foot) from ten hours to approximately 4 hours. In addition, a large investment was made in the production side, especially in the handling of branches with specialized equipment which allows appropriate conditions to be kept in order to achieve higher productivity with better output per hectare and higher quality. On the other hand, those processes contribute to the natural fertility of the soil, and then allow the master incorporation of nutritional content of the foliage and leaves to be converted into chips (for recycling).
At present time, our productive capacity is more than one million boxes, (which weigh 4 kgs each).

Manga Rica S.A. is the leading company in the following fields: production, technical and social.

The local community benefits by having approximately 600 direct employees, which represents some 2000 people who benefit during the harvest season, bringing commercial activity. In this way, transport and consultancy services, which Manga Rica need every year have to be taken into account.
